Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.

After School Club
G.I.T. Fit – Girls in Training is a great program to offer as an after school club. Most elementary schools offer after school clubs such as art clubs, bible clubs, and chorus, as well as after school care. It is convenient for both girls and their parents, as most public schools have a track or parking lot where the club can run. G.I.T. Fit is also a good after school club for 6th grade girls in middle school, since most schools do not allow students to participate in school sports until the 7th grade.
Church Sports Program
Many churches have a sports program for the children in their church and the community as it has become a very effective means of community outreach. G.I.T. Fit – Girls in Training is a great compliment to any existing sports ministry or a place to begin a sports ministry. G.I.T. Fit can meet at the same time as other sports practices or games and provides convenience for the parents, support for every sport, and more options for the girls.
Church Girls’ Enrichment Ministry Program
Those of us involved in children’s ministry, specifically girls’ ministry, know that finding good, applicable curriculum can be difficult. The G.I.T. Fit Leaders Guide and Girls’ Devotional have been written specifically for girls ages 10-14. They address topics that girls deal with on a daily basis such as body image, fears, maintaining balance, relationships, and eating right. Each lesson is taught from a Biblical perspective, as we believe the Bible is the only true and unchanging standard that a girl can learn from and base her core values on. The G.I.T. Fit material can be adapted and used effectively as discipleship material for Sunday mornings or Wednesday evening classes.
